What is The HandyMen Club?

The HandyMen Club manages 5 data types including jobs. Helps you organize, track, and share your work in 1 place for teams and solo users.

How do I post a job on The Handymen Club?

Choose 'Post a Job' and add your project category, description, photos, budget, and ZIP code. Posting is free. Interested local professionals can submit quotes; the number of responses depends on availability.

How do I hire a handyman through The Handymen Club?

After posting your job, you'll receive bids from qualified professionals in your area. Review each pro's profile, ratings, reviews, and proposed price. You can message pros directly before accepting a bid. Once you've chosen, accept the quote to hire them.

How does payment work for customers?

Payment terms are agreed directly between you and the professional. Discuss how and when you'll pay with your pro before hiring — you're in control of the arrangement.

Can I cancel a job after posting it?

Yes. You can cancel a job posting at any time before a professional begins work. Navigate to your Job Tracking dashboard, find the job, and select 'Cancel'. If work has already started, contact the professional and our support team to discuss options.

What if I'm not satisfied with the completed work?

Contact the professional and document the issue. If you need help, contact support or use the available dispute option in Job Tracking. A refund or particular outcome is not guaranteed.

Are handymen on The Handymen Club insured and licensed?

Do not assume that a profile or badge guarantees licensing, insurance, or a background check. Ask the professional for current credentials and confirm they meet your project's requirements before hiring.

How do I start finding jobs on The Handymen Club?

Create a free professional profile and select your service ZIP codes. Browse lead previews for free, then choose whether to accept a qualified lead and complete its $10 checkout for customer contact and quote access.

What do professional leads cost?

Professionals pay $10 per accepted qualified lead, starting with the first accepted lead. There is no monthly ZIP fee or free trial. Browsing previews, declining a lead, and choosing service areas are free. A qualified lead is a real project with valid contact information that matches your services and area. Leads may be shared and do not guarantee a job. Service work is priced separately. Existing subscriptions are not automatically canceled or changed.

How do professionals get paid for their work?

Agree on the price, scope, and payment terms directly with the homeowner before starting. The $10 lead fee is separate from payment for your work. Where platform payment options are available, follow their displayed terms and keep your payout details current.

How can I increase my visibility and win more jobs?

Complete your profile fully (bio, portfolio photos, skills, service areas), gather positive reviews from completed jobs, respond to quotes quickly, and keep your availability current. No paid upgrade is required; search placement is not sold.

Can I set my service area on The Handymen Club?

Yes. From your profile settings, you can set your home ZIP code, service radius in miles, or manually add specific ZIP codes you're willing to travel to. Jobs are filtered to only show postings within your defined service area.

What happens if a customer disputes a job I completed?

Keep the agreed scope, messages, and evidence of the completed work. Contact the homeowner and support about the issue. Review times and outcomes depend on the circumstances; no resolution deadline or refund is guaranteed.

Is The Handymen Club available in my area?

Search your ZIP code to see available professionals and jobs. Coverage and lead availability vary by area; there is no guaranteed number of leads or responses.
